Woman’s History Month posters

After making a Black History Month poster, the Art Club was asked by the history department to create a poster to celebrate the achievements of ladies during Woman’s History Month, which takes place during the month of March. Instead of just one poster the club went above and beyond and created three sets of posters with various historical figures. These included women such as artist Georgia O’Keeffe, activist Marsha P. Johnson, German diarist Anne Frank, aviator Amelia Earhart, poet Maya Angelou, birth control activist Margaret Sanger, space engineer Tiera Fletcher, author Jane Austin, First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and pioneer Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

And similar to the Black History Month poster, the history department plans to keep them and put them up again next year so students can be reminded of the achievements of great historical figures.
