FAFSA Frenzy

Jocelyn Leal, Editor-in-Chief

It’s that time of year for seniors, college applications are due and acceptances are coming back, but arguably the most important part of this process is filling out the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA for short. This application is free to fill out and is necessary to receive government grants for college. Even if students do not think that they will qualify for the FAFSA, it is important to fill out anyway, since colleges often look at it when providing their financial aid to students. Every senior student should fill out the FAFSA, and the link to the form is here.

What is even more exciting is that seniors who fill out the FAFSA can enter a drawing for a Publix gift card, but it closes this Friday, so make sure to fill out the survey on your class Schoology page.
