PASCO, Wash. – According to the Pasco Police Department, a fatal crash occurred along West Lewis Street and North 28th Avenue, temporarily causing traffic to stop.
A NonStop Local reporter on the scene confirmed with authorities that one person died in the incident.
According to the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, a 65-year-old man was struck while crossing Lewis Street.
The man’s identify is not being revealed at this time since his family has yet to be told of his death.
West Lewis Street was stopped between North 28th Avenue and North 24th Avenue for a “lengthy investigation.” It has now been reopened.
