That time of year has come again; dual enrollment deadlines are rapidly approaching.

Remember that at SCF, the requirements needed to apply are:

  1. A 3.0 unweighted GPA.
  2. The qualifying scores on any of the PERT, ACT, or SATs. See here.
  3. Written approval from a guidance counselor.
  4. Written approval from a parent.

At SCF, the deadline for classes in the springtime is Dec 1. For classes next fall, the deadline is May 15. Later this school year, juniors will be eligible to enlist in SCF’s Early Admission program, where in their senior year, students can participate in at least four classes at SCF full time.

The requirements to apply for USF include:

  1. A minimum 3.5 GPA, as recalculated using only core courses.
  2. The following scores for at least one of the following tests: SAT – 560 reading/writing, 530 math; ACT – 21 reading, 21 English, 21 math; PERT – 123 math, 106 reading, 103 writing

USF’s dual enrollment students do not need to pay an application fee.

At USF, the deadline for classes in spring is Nov 15, while the deadline for fall classes is, like SCF, also May 15.
