Homecoming events are still underway at Manatee High, with several of them taking place outdoors. For Friday, expect typical Florida summer heat, and a small rain chance. Saturday and Sunday follow with similar characteristics, both being very warm, and both having low to moderate rain chances. Early next week, the first cold-front of the season will push through the area, though it will be significantly weak, and will only lower rain chances even more and possibly bring slightly lower humidity. Stronger fronts typically start to show up in the late October to early November timeframe.
