The Death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg
September 28, 2020
Born on March 15, 1933, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the second female to become a justice on the Supreme Court. Known for her contribution towards women’s rights and equality, Ginsburg became
an amazing representation for many women in the nation and around the world to adore and respect.
Unfortunately on the Sept. 18, 2020, Ginsburg passed away due to complications with her metastatic pancreatic cancer in her home. In her dying moments Ginsburg made a final request, she stated, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.” Ginsburg’s death wish may not be heard as of now because President Donald J. Trump has recently spoke of going in the opposite direction.
This week, Ginsburg will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery, which was another wish to be buried beside her husband.
