Places Open During October for Halloween

Hunsader Farms

  • Open on Oct 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25 (9 am-5 pm)
  • Mask are recommended, but not required; hand sanitizer stations
  • Admission: $10 Parking: $5 (children 10 & under are free)
  • Activities include: live music, live shows, craft show, pumpkins, charity pumpkin games, pioneer trades village, hayrides, pony rides, corn maze ($2), scarecrow displays, homemade ice cream, farm roasted sweet corn, food galore, pumpkin pie, rock climbing wall, power jump, petting zoo, barnyard playground, arm painting, children’s train ride ($2), big train ride ($3), juggler, fresh produce, butterfly experience, banana derby, and children’s costume contest

Halloween in S. Lime

  • Open Oct 29-31 (7-10 pm)
  • Admission: FREE
  • Spooky Halloween drive-thru with projection mapping, animatronics, sounds, and special effects; shares multiple scary scenes and treats are delivered, from a distance
  • Highlights of this event include fire breathing pumpkins, glowing spider eggs, robots, and lying ghosts
  • Three different scenes with action such as: swamp monsters battling pumpkin men and a “ghouls” garden filled with skull flowers, mushrooms, and a creepy caterpillar

Rye Road Giraffes Halloween Weekend. Open Oct 30- Nov 1 (11-4 pm)

  • Admission: $12 (children 12 & under are free)


  • Activities include: animal feedings, arm paintings, doll shop, camel rides, pony rides, pig races, and free candy, visit/see animals such as camels, giraffes, goats, llamas, horses, zebras, bulls, cows, and pigs
  • Food includes, cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, snow cones, soda, and water
  • Masks are mandatory when social distancing cannot be maintained
  • Proceeds benefit the care of animals at the residence
