5 Members of Oklahoma Drug Trafficking Network Plead Guilty to Federal Meth Distribution Charges

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that five members of a drug trafficking network had pled guilty to federal drug and drug-related charges.

Rito Alvarado Gomez has pled guilty to drug conspiracy. Jose Alberto Alvarado Gomez, Ricardo Villeda, and Iris Yoselin Luna-Herrera have pled guilty to meth distribution.

Ana Isabel Frayre Barboza pleaded guilty to misprision of felony.

5 Members of Oklahoma Drug Trafficking Network Plead Guilty to Federal Meth Distribution Charges

The indictment said that the defendants conspired to distribute meth in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and elsewhere from 2018 until March 2024.

The allegations stemmed from a DEA investigation in coordination with many other agencies.

Except for Barboza, all of the defendants will be held in custody by the United States Marshals until they are sentenced. Barboza was allowed to remain on bond pending his sentence.
