Lancaster Shootings Leave FOUR DEAD, ONE VICTIM SURVIVES as Police Detain Suspect

Police in Lancaster, California, detained 19-year-old Miguel Sandoval in connection with the murders of four individuals as they rushed to extract their bodies from a blazing home, discovering one of the victims was still alive.

On Saturday, investigators discovered the shooting victims inside a residence in the 44500 block of North Tabler Avenue. Three persons were discovered dead on the site, while a fourth was taken to the hospital but later died.

The victims were eventually identified as Janvi Maquindang, 21, from Lancaster, Edwin Garcia, 24, Christine Aca-ac, 26, and Matthew Montebello.

According to a police report, a 16-year-old girl was inside at the time of the shooting but was able to hide and call authorities. She was not injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, an inquiry is ongoing. Police have yet to reveal the motivation for the heinous crimes.
