The National Weather Service has predicted that this week, a low-pressure system that is located off the coast of the Pacific Northwest would bring a combination of rain and moderate winds to the Bay Area and the Central Coast.
It is anticipated that showers will start to appear in the North Bay this evening, and there is a possibility of isolated thunderstorms being present.
There is a possibility that the storm may become more intense by Monday, bringing with it more rain and strong southerly winds to the Central Coast.
The coastal mountains may receive as much as two inches of rain! There will be less precipitation in the Bay Area, with totals measuring somewhere between a quarter and a half inches.
Particularly on Monday afternoon, gusts of wind could reach thirty miles per hour. With a minor probability of rain on Friday, a drying trend is anticipated to begin by Wednesday, leaving Thanksgiving clear.
