Augusta was the scene of a shooting that occurred on Friday morning as a result of an incident involving road rage.
According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting took place at approximately eleven o’clock in the morning close to the intersection of River Watch Parkway and Claussen Road.
One victim was discovered by deputies who attended the event, and the sheriff’s office said that the victim had been shot at least once in the chest.
It was later discovered by the authorities that the shooting was the result of an altercation involving road rage.
After being transferred to a hospital, the sufferer received medical attention. The sheriff’s office advised that there was no other information that could be provided at this time.
