Furthermore, potential federal spending cuts under the new Trump administration could impact state funding, making financial prudence even more critical.
Hall emphasized that reducing government bloat is necessary to protect core functions like public safety and education. “Unnecessary government bloat and waste hurt North Carolina taxpayers’ wallets and divert funds that could be used for essential services,” he said.
