A Tennessee man faces life in prison after being charged with rape, incest, and other offenses in Missouri.
Justin L. Brown, 36, of Clarksville, Tennessee, has been charged with incest, rape, and other offenses in connection with a victim’s months-long sexual abuse, according to court records filed in Jackson County, Missouri, on Thursday, Nov. 21.
A public grand jury indictment filed on Thursday charged Brown with rape, statutory rape, incest, and two counts of domestic abuse. If convicted, he faces life in jail without the possibility of parole until 85% of his term is completed, as well as a $40,000 fine.
According to court documents, the offenses are alleged to have occurred between June 1, 2023, and November 30, 2023, with a victim under the age of 17.
As of Sunday, Brown was still in jail, with no bond set for these crimes. Andrew County has set a $10,000 bond for failure to appear on drug charges. The arraignment for this case has been scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday, November 25.
