A Colorado father allowed an employee to stay in the basement of his Jefferson County home when the employee pushed himself on top of the homeowner’s 14-year-old daughter, according to sheriff’s office detectives. He was detained in Denver on Tuesday.
Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo, 20, appeared in court on Wednesday, accused of third-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Few specifics about the event or the investigation were immediately available, but the alleged sexual assault took place at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. Castillo was staying in his boss’s basement temporarily.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Castillo was apprehended in Denver on Tuesday without incident.
He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
