According to the Kern County coroner, at least one person, a 34-year-old woman, died in a two-car incident Friday morning on Highway 58 near Tehachapi.
Around 8 a.m. on November 15, 2024, CHP officers responded to the westbound lanes of Highway 58, west of Sand Canyon Road. Officers came and located Kathleen Marie Renteria Flores, 34, of Milpitas, California.
Her body was located in the passenger seat of an automobile that collided with another car. The coroner confirmed that she died at the scene.
The condition of Flores’ driver, the other driver, and anyone else involved is now unknown.
