Dense fog continues to blanket the Lower Treasure Valley, and the National Weather Service has extended the Dense Fog Advisory until 2 PM MST Thursday.

Webcams and predictions show no major improvement before Friday, with recurrent patterns of chilly temperatures, gloomy skies, and mild winds.

Change is on the way this weekend. A cold front will pass through Saturday night, bringing gusty winds and colder air, which should lift the inversion.
