A deputy from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was injured following a crash on the 105 Freeway near Downey on Friday evening.
The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on the westbound lanes of I-105 near the Paramount Boulevard offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are unknown, however, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy from the South Los Angeles station was involved.
SkyCal was overhead as the deputy, who appeared to be alert and conversing with other law enforcement officers on the scene, was loaded into the back of an ambulance.
Their condition was unknown.
