DFW is not expected to freeze anytime soon. North Texas normally experiences its first freeze, marking the end of the growing season, on November 22.
Gardeners have experienced a longer-than-usual growing season. It will continue for at least another ten days.
We’re expecting a huge warm-up over the weekend. Temperatures in North Texas will reach about 80 degrees by Sunday. Then another front approaches early Monday, bringing fall temperatures back to North Texas.
