Samsung may not release the Galaxy A56 to the general public for more than a few months. However, this does not prevent leaks of renders showing the entire device.
OnLeaks and Android Headlines have published the first high-quality renders of the Galaxy A56, one of the company’s mid-range smartphones for 2025. It should be released sometime in the first quarter of next year.
The shared CAD-based renders indicate a similar form to its predecessor, the Galaxy A55, with flat sides and rounded corners. It will include a flat punch-hole display and three rear cameras stacked vertically on the back. The Galaxy A56’s rear cameras appear to be stacked in a single camera module, whereas the A55’s were mounted independently.
The publication also claims that Samsung should take the “Key Island” design aspects debuted in the Galaxy A55 alongside the affordable Galaxy A15 and Galaxy 25 phones from last year, where the power button and volume rockers are raised on the right pane of the handset to make them easier to see.
While the expected features are unknown, Android Headlines reports that the handset may include 45W fast charging, akin to premium Galaxy phones, despite the Galaxy A56 being a mid-range smartphone. According to a recent Chinese certification, the handset would also use the Exynos 1580 SoC, which was revealed in October.
If the debut of the preceding models is any indicator, the Galaxy A56 should be available in March 2025 in markets beginning with Europe and priced below €500.
On the other hand, Samsung’s other Galaxy A series device, dubbed Galaxy A26, was seen in the renders—also posted by OnLeaks last week—giving us a good look at the design and some of the expected characteristics of the Galaxy phone priced below $300.
