Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Rumored to Feature 200MP Main Camera and Advanced ALoP Technology

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Rumored to Feature 200MP Main Camera and Advanced ALoP Technology

Rumors about Samsung’s likely S25 series addition continue to circulate, with claims of improved camera performance emerging.

According to a post, X tipster Sanju Choudhary claims the rumored “Galaxy S25 Slim” will include a flagship-level camera. According to the source, the slimmer S25 will include a 200MP Isocell HP5 primary camera. The tipster adds that the lens will most likely use a “1/1.56-inch” sensor.

Despite its smaller size, Samsung is expected to continue the three-lens practice on the back of the S25 Slim. The insider claims the phone will have an ultrawide lens and a telephoto camera. Regarding the former, the post indicates that it could include a 1/2.76-inch sensor with 50MP resolution as part of the Isocell JN5 series.

Additionally, the telephoto lens is said to be 50MP, with the same sensor size as the JN5 series and 3.5x zoom capability.

Additional (rumored) details about the Galaxy S25 Slim’s cameras seem to confirm what we learned earlier in November. The device was originally expected to debut with an “Ultra” camera, leading to speculation that a 200MP camera was included.

The most recent rumor confirms this and adds auxiliary lenses, which were previously lacking. It was unclear whether the Slim variant could even handle two more lenses given its thinner frame; however, the tipster thinks Samsung could use new technology.

According to the X article, the Korean OEM might use its new ALoP camera technology to create a powerful ultrawide and telephoto lens.

Samsung recently unveiled ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology, which positions the camera lenses “horizontally upon the prism, remaining in the plane of the smartphone body.” In summary, the corporation looked to be optimistic that its new technology (powerful cameras) would meet consumer expectations while remaining elegant and small. It was unclear where Samsung may showcase this technology, but new reports point to the “Galaxy S25 Slim.”

In other news, a recent database finding may show that the Slim model exists. The GSMA IMEI database included the model number SM-S937U. According to one account, it resembles the SM-S937 model number from the S25 series, suggesting that the Slim exists. We’re probably a few months away from a launch, as the device is expected to appear in Q2 2025.
