School Bus Carrying 18 Students Involved in Collision With Sedan – Two People Injured, Investigation Continues

The collision between a vehicle and a school bus that occurred at 3:09 p.m. between Decorah Road and Sixth Avenue in West Bend, Wisconsin, reportedly resulted in the injuries of two individuals, one of whom was a kid.

According to Lieutenant Brian McAndrews of the police department, “We responded to a traffic accident involving a school bus and a sedan on Decorah Road at 6th Avenue.”

Due to the incident, both the driver of the sedan and one of the students on the bus reported that they were experiencing leg pain of some kind.

There has been no additional injury reported at this time. 18 pupils were riding on the bus at the time.

There is currently an ongoing investigation by the police to see whether or not the driver of the bus or vehicle will be issued the citation.
