Semi-truck Crash on I-24 in Kentucky Leaves Two Injured, Closes Westbound Traffic

According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department (HFD), a collision in Kentucky that involved a semi-truck resulted in the injuries of two individuals.

On Interstate 24 West, close to mile marker 85, the collision took place soon before 4:30 p.m.

The Houston Fire Department said that a semi-truck that was carrying two individuals who were operating together as a “team operator crew” toppled and obstructed westbound traffic.

According to the HFD, both the driver of the semi and his passenger were transported to a hospital in Clarksville. It is anticipated that they will live.

According to the HFD, the roadway was closed for some hours.
