A two-vehicle collision that occurred on Interstate 75 on Sunday afternoon resulted in the transportation of one individual to the hospital, according to the High Springs firemen.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported a significant collision on Interstate 75 in High Springs, close to County Road 236, at approximately four o’clock in the afternoon.
One individual was taken to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be traumatic.
A warning is being issued to drivers to reduce their speed. As of 4:07 p.m., the accident was preventing traffic from both the left and the center lanes.
The cause of the collision has not yet been identified at this time.
