Three Tesla Cybertruck passengers were murdered and another injured in an accident in Piedmont, California, authorities said.
According to Xinhua, Piedmont police arrived at the area and discovered a Cybertruck completely engulfed in flames.
Police stated they attempted to extinguish the fire but were unsuccessful owing to the strength of the flames.
Three of the four individuals inside the truck perished at the site, while the fourth was evacuated to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to police. An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
A spokeswoman for the Alameda County Coroner’s Office stated on Wednesday that identifying the fatalities might take weeks because they were “not identifiable.”
