Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Arrests:

Shane Benjamin Richard, 44, from the 200 block of Glen Oak Road, Venice, was arrested for DUI and two counts of DUI with property damage or injury. Bond: $2,500.

Debra Smallwood, 54, residing in the 200 block of Clemson Road, Venice, faced charges of battery. Bond: none.

Markieshia Lasha Gibson, 18, from the 100 block of Castleberry Court, Venice, was arrested for contempt of court due to failure to appear and violation of probation related to grand theft auto. Bond: none.

Clydrick Antoine Lewis, 39, of the 500 block of Church St., Nokomis, was charged with resisting an officer without violence and interfering with an on-duty first responder. Bond: none on resisting charge; $250 on interference charge.

Criminal Registration:

Matthew James Kenney, 37, from the 200 block of Gardenia Road, Venice, completed criminal registration.
