Woman Dies in Kings County Dui Crash After Driver Runs Stop Sign; Man Seriously Injured

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is looking into a potential DUI crash that killed a lady and injured a man in Kings County.

On Sunday, shortly after midnight, cops responded to Fargo and 13th Avenues, just outside of Hanford, for reports of an accident.

According to officers, the woman was driving a Chevy Traverse north on 13th and had come to a halt at a four-way stop.

As she approached the junction, she was struck by a guy driving a Toyota FourRunner who had run a stop sign on Fargo.

The woman, in her thirties, died from her injuries.

The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is being investigated, and investigators believe alcohol was a factor.
